This week, I had an opportunity to meet with Jill Boehler, United Way donor and volunteer for St. Joseph Healthcare. She shared with me the terrific works of the Care for A Cause Committee which is a dynamic crew of dedicated volunteers based at St. Joe’s that are leading some terrific community building projects. Because we love to share how people in our community LIVE UNITED, I wanted to let you know about Joseph’s Closet. Launched by Care for A Cause Committee, Joseph’s Closet collects and distributes durable medical equipment such as wheel chairs, commodes, shower seats, you name it. They accept donations which they clean and offer for free to anyone that has a need. If you know of someone that is caring for a loved one at home that might need some equipment or if you have some equipment you would like to share, Joseph Closet is a great place to turn. Right now they are seeking some volunteers to staff the closet. See below for details. Congratulations to Care for A Cause Committee for bringing such a valuable resources to our community!
Nashua, NH – The Care for a Cause Committee at St. Joseph Hospital is looking for adult volunteers to help staff Joseph’s Closet.
