Day of Caring is a fantastic opportunity to work hard, get your hands dirty, and witness firsthand the great things non-profit agencies in the Greater Nashua area are doing! Day of Caring takes place each September. For one day, volunteers from companies in the Greater Nashua and Souhegan Valley area take the day off from work to volunteer at area non-profit organizations.
Day of Caring 2012
Thanks to everyone who made Day of Caring in Greater Nashua possible on September 11, 2012. More than 330 volunteers painted and cleaned up non-profit facilities, delivered meals to home-bound elderly, worked with toddlers and seniors in day care programs, and performed a variety of other services that agencies could not complete on their own due to lack of resources.
Special thanks to our sponsors: 106.3 Frank FM; BAE Systems; Cityside Management Corporation; Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Northern New England; DJ Dave Entertainment; McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, PA; Nashua Wallpaper Company; Pennichuck Water; St. Joseph Hospital; UnitedHealthcare; and UPS. Thanks also to select employees of Anheuser-Busch, Merrimack Brewery, for their contributions to our volunteer appreciation BBQ.
