Paul Hebert, president of United Way of Greater Nashua and CEO of 501hub, has been named “Business Person of the Year” by the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce. He was honored today at the Chamber’s 12th Annual Eminence Awards in Nashua.
The presentation of Paul’s award capped off an impressive luncheon program that also honored Greater Nashua’s outstanding businesses, business leaders, and community volunteers, and featured Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker as guest speaker.
The Chamber’s premier awards ceremony for the business community, the Eminence Awards recognize Greater Nashua businesses and business leaders who provide significant contributions to the community through their involvement with the Chamber, and through community-based organizations and activities. Award winners “care about the future of our Greater Nashua community, and work hard to ensure that our community prospers.”
A native of Nashua, Paul Hebert has served as United Way of Greater Nashua’s president since 2012, and launched 501hub the following year. At the awards ceremony, he was lauded for leading a transformation that has provided Greater Nashua with a stronger United Way. He also was recognized for 501hub’s innovation and cost savings that allow its growing roster of non-profit clients (including UWGN) to put more of their resources toward their mission.
Paul’s commitment to community also includes his service as:
- President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Nashua
- Multiple Paul Harris fellow of Rotary International
- Alumnus of Leadership New Hampshire
- Incoming Chairman of the Board for the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce
In addition, Paul is co-leading the executive search team to find a successor to Chris Williams, who is stepping down as the Chamber’s President and CEO.
Congratulations, Paul, on this tremendous honor and thank you for all your hard work to support the Greater Nashua community!
