Thanks to everyone who made Day of Caring 2009 a success!.

Day of Caring is a fantastic opportunity to work hard, get your hands dirty, and witness firsthand the great things non-profit agencies in the Greater Nashua area are doing! Day of Caring takes place each September. For one day, volunteers from companies in the Greater Nashua and Souhegan Valley area take the day off from work to volunteer at area non-profit organizations.

United Way of Greater Nashua's 18th Annual Day of Caring was held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009. More than 330 volunteers painted and cleaned up facilities, delivered meals to homebound elderly, and performed a variety of other services that the agencies often cannot complete due to lack of resources.

Special thanks to our sponsors: BAE Systems; Celebrations Catering; Dasani; DJ Dave Entertainment; Elbit Systems of America; Life is good; the McLane law firm; Nashua Wallpaper Company; Pennichuck Water; Public Service of NH; St. Joseph Hospital; Seaboard International Forest Products; SecureHorizons by UnitedHealthcare; Shaw's Supermarkets; and UPS.
