2017 Days of Caring

2017 Days of Caring

Starting in 2017 we are having more focused “Days” of Caring! We have planned 4 Separate Days:

  • Day of Caring About Food Security — in May we are holding two separate events, a Community Gardening Event in conjunction with Grow Nashua, and a Food Packaging Event. Information about both of these events, including sign ups and pictures, can be found at the event Facebook Page HERE
  • Day of Caring about Early Childhood Development — in June we are holding a “Community Baby Shower” at Nashua Community College to provide support and information for the low income new families in Greater Nashua. Information about this event, including sign ups and pictures can be found at the event Facebook Page HERE
  • Day of Caring about Homelessness — in September we will again be “sleeping in a box” at the community college to raise funds and spread awareness about Homelessness and Hunger. Information about this event, including how to sign up and support the event, can be found at the event Facebook Page HERE
  • Day of Caring about our homebound, low income, elderly — In October we will again be doing our “Shoebox Project” to support the low income elderly in our community, providing needed personal care products and supplies in partnership with our friends from Meals on Wheels and The Caregivers. More information will be soon available about this great Day of Caring.
