Food Security Days of Caring — Join us on April 25th for a day of Community Farming!

On April 25th we will be teaming up with Grow Nashua and Regenerative Roots to build a production farm for the Community Farmers of Grow Nashua. These farmers have spent the last year learning farming techniques to become food secure… no small task in the rough farming conditions of New England! We will be building out roughly 15,000 square feet of space on land committed to the project by the owners of Sullivan Farm. Activities will include installing roughly 150 yards of soil into raised beds and building a fence. This will be a fun event for all of those who love digging in the dirt for the good of community. We will need at least 100 volunteers to make this day a big success!

United We Sleep to End Hunger and Homelessness 2017 – September 21/22, 2018 — information coming soon… meanwhile check out last year’s event:

For one night in September, you will join dozens of Greater Nashuans in learning about the issues of extreme poverty and exploring pathways to success. You will share stories and learn from local experts as you sleep out in a cardboard box and experience a small semblance of what our homeless population experiences day in and day out. You will join together in support of our community in a unique and deeply satisfying way. We invite you to join us this year in Sleeping United to End Hunger & Homelessness.
